Primal Gear and Steinberg Nuendo are again hosting a Nuendo Users School! The Power Users School will meet on Nov 13, & 14.
Nov 13th - Nuendo Beginners Course
Scheduled Topics
Nov 13th
10am-12pm: Basic Computer management Mac & PC
· Basic file management; We will discuss the file structure of the Mac and Windows OS
· Computer Maintenance; A short discussion on the intricacies of keeping you DAW healthy and at top speed
· Nuendo File Management; A discussion on the way the Nuendo software handles all of its files and file structure within Nuendo.
· Backup; The most common backup methods and how they are implemented.
12pm-2pm: Basic Neundo Instruction
· This is where we will begin to delve into Nuendos tools, menus and options.
· Students will learn how to setup sessions and basic recording techniques
· Basic Midi Intruction
2pm-3pm: Lunch
3pm-5pm: Continued Recording, Basic Editing,
· Basic Editing: Vocal Comping, Loops, Etc
5pm-6pm: FAQ Session
· Each day at the end of our session we will undertake a question and answer section. There will be 4 to 5 Nuendo system in house for our students do practice any techniques learned in the course of the day.
Nov 14th
10am-1pm: Advanced Nuendo Techniques
· Overview of the differences between Nuendo workstations, preparing students for the diverse range of environments found in the industry
· Advanced Editing features and techniques
· Monitoring and Latency discussion
1pm-2pm: Lunch
2pm-5pm: Advanced Nuendo Techniques
· Nuendo automation modes, practices and techniques
· Introduction into Nuendo 2.0 and some of its new implementation
· Control surfaces usage
· Mixdown techniques
· Instruction on Virtual Instruments and Soft Synths
· Synchronization basics
· Introduction to surround
· Introduction to Import and Export features
5pm-6pm: FAQ Session
· Each day at the end of our session we will undertake a question and answer section. There will be 4 to 5 Nuendo system in house for our students do practice any techniques learned in the course of the day. Sundays FAQ may last till 7pm since we will be attempting to schedule a special quest for the course.
